Making It A Better Place is a Charlotte, NC Not for Profit organization providing support to other nonprofit programs who are the building blocks to make the world a better place. Think of us as the foundation supporting many organizations in their goal to better the world. Our goal is to create a culture where giving back is second nature, not just a “once in a while” thing.

In 2010, we put on first major event - Thrill the World, Charlotte. The event was a huge success, and we are proud to be hosting Thrill the World Charlotte again this year.

Thrill The World is friends, families and other local residents who will join together with thousands of other people around the globe to break the World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller - and to raise funds for charity. Thousands of people in cities around the world will learn the “Thriller” dance and perform it together at the same time on the day that Thrill The World takes place.

This year we are raising funds for S.A.F.E. Animal Haven, and we will be collecting food for the Matthews Help Center to help fight hunger.

This year Making It A Better Place will be hosting the "Arise" Family Friendly Festival. Fun for everyone!
